Bob and I were the guests on the excellent Soul Discovery show on 209 radio out of Cambridgeshire, our host of course was Mick O'Donnell. As soon as Bob realised I was at home recuperating he immediately roped me in to review some of the newer music that might be heading to this years Yarmouth bashment. So here goes; The new Charlie Wilson album is a very hit and miss affair, actually it more miss than hit but the saving grace is the wonderful version of "There goes my baby", set at the perfect tempo this really does command attention and respect, its one hell of a soul tune.

The Reggie Boone album has been out some while now but "Love one another" is heading our way at full steam, a stunning modern soul dancer that will have you on the floor from the first play, from the 2008, the album is titled "The Incomparible", another album that's an essential purpose so many top moments.
